Is anybody having problems with Kodi, it's been a few days now and not all seems to be going well, where ADDONS use to run smoothly, they now don't, reliability at my end now isn't so reliable. I've just upgraded to the latest Kodi 15.1, unsure at this stage if it's made any difference, people's comments greatly appriciated.

Thanks

What you describe i have been reading about.

Addons use differing aspects of librtmp resulting in some dont work or some partly work.

I dont know what the fix is perhaps try Kodi 15. as opposed to 15.1

Also make sure it is patched. ( Kodi 15. With latest librtmp on board.)

Other than that i dont have any solution.

All the best. jamsb.

Thanks for letting us know what step you took to resolve your setup.

I tried 15.1 also and had a similar problem.

Have you guys tried KODI 15.2 RC1 yet?

I tried it last night with a few streaming plugins and it was working ok for me.

No not got that far yet with 15.2 RCI. Good to know this. Thanks.

15.1 was not great for me.

Yes I'm on KODI 15.2 RC1 , still have issues...

Can anybody tell me how to go backwards to 14.2, as I'm at a loss to where to find the file.

Thanks

Jamsb,
When I've come to put the file on, (I do it the same way as I've done before on other updates) I get the message App not installed, this comes virtually straight up, any ideas what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks

Try uninstalling it and start again. Remember to back up before you do this or you will lose your favs.

All i do is on android side of box is

Android home page > settings >more settings > okay > Scroll down to apps > Okay > Scroll down to kodi > Okay >

right arrow over to uninstall > okay kodi will uninstall > back to android home page > applications > okay >

select app installer > your usb file will show in menu of app installer > select and install > wait for it to complete installation > and thats it.

Please back up you files settings and addons. before doing the above. I am writing this blind as i have no idea what your setup is or what your using.

All the best jamsb.

Cheers, manage to finally get 14.2 back on the box, your instructions SPOT on, idiot me tho thought I'd backed up all my ADDONS, but no, something doesn't seem to have gone according to plan and none have been backed up, never mind.
I can say at this stage 14.2 hasn't made any difference, it looks like a Kodi issue. ( Genesis and many more are a no no ) for me.

Cheers everybody for ALL your help.

Another problem.... I'm trying to put robocop 1.5 on via the zip file in this section, yet again my mind is blank, I've downloaded the file, put it on a stick plugged stick into the box, altho I can see the file when I go to add via install from zip file via my stick, when I select the file at this stage the box doesn't see the file, and I can't continue , I've added a few ADDONS this way but ages ago and can't remember if I'm doing it the right thing with the file.
Any help appriciated.
Thanks
