zero not adding sats

i have just set this up but i have issues finding satellites. or should i say storing satellites. i tried using the usals but the dish ends up about 42e and not at 1w. i tried to use the DiSEqC 1.2 in setup using advanced config but this only allows 2 sats to be added. cant figure out whats up or what i did wrong. any help?

you would be better off setting it to simple, usals , positioner and adding your GPS location (long and lat)

then use dreamset or similar to add the latest motorised list from catseye , from the ENIGMA 2 SETTINGS FORUM here on pimps

i have already go the latest list on the box and when i setup usals in simple mode using th correct lat and long the dish does not go to 1w but 42e which i can not understand. when i store 1w using usals the dish ends up moving to 13e. this the part i do not understand

you cannot STORE sats under usals , only diseqc v1.2

set your longitude to the correct figures for yourself, also the latitude

so let us say you were at 1.5 west and 52.4 north using simple positioner and Usals

Mode Positioner

set longitude to 001.500 West
set the latitude to 052.4 North

extra motor options - NO

save and exit

press the DOWN ARROW

PRESS blue

Select 0.8w or 28.2e or whatever sat or channel bouquet list you require

lets say its Canal Digital Finland SD in the 0.8w section

select Al Jaz English or BBC WORLD NEWS or SKY NEWS

The motor should turn to 0.8w and show you those free to air channels

still no joy. i followed all the instructions and when i set the usals to 003.782 west and 0.56.119 north the dish still will not go to 1 west but to 42 e which is not right. the lat and long set for 1w

the lat and long are NOT SET for 1w, they are set for your GPS position 003.782 west and 056.119 north

it sounds to me as if you have not selected a channel so the box is using 42 east as one end of the list and going there (perhaps its channel 1) , or maybe your startup channel is set to 42 east ?

you need to select a channel on 0.8w like I said, in the bouquets (if you want 0.8w)

i hve sorted 1w and added 19.2e but this is te same issue. i am adding 28.2e and although i find it and store as number 3, the dish now just jumps back to 1w. about to give up and go back to the spiderbox lol

solved the issues. me beig stupid lol. i got sats adding no issues now. sorry for the trouble.
