use copy and paste, and copy the file and paste onto the micro sd card and it will transfer a copy to the sd card, just simple use of windows explorer or the control keys on your keyboard

right mouse on filename and choose and click copy

right mouse on sd card or a folder on the sd card and choose and click paste

or use CTRL and C on the highlighted file to copy

then use CTRL and V to paste onto the sd card (or usb stick)

I recently acquired a windows phone from my daughter and I use moliplayer pro to play all my files from old .trp hd recorded on my now dead spider hd7000 to .ts files from my hd 6000. Full app is about £2 - also plays music inc flac and other lossless files
