Had you bought this receiver from the forum sponsor, you would have seen the following info, and also the option to have your requirements pre-installed:

“gift” isn’t the correct terminology, “gift” implies that by installing 3rd party firmware or software a free connection to an internet card server or IKS is available if “You” the end-user decide to install it yourself. However in recent times the term “gift” has been adopted by naive, some might say moronic individuals selling these devices pre-loaded with a 12 month “line” to a “pay server”. Basically these imbecilic retailers are breaking the law and spoon feeding the scenes biggest losers and lamers and perpetuating a culture of lazy idiots.

ZGemma’s don’t come with “gifts” however because Zgemma’s are Linux boxes running Enigma2 you can connect to a card server using CCcam, MGCamd, OSCAM, etc but first you will need to obtain “a line” for one of the aforementioned softcams.

Card Sharing is the route that “the enthusiast” or “hobbyist” prefer. CS is where a group of friends all buy different subscription cards then share said cards amongst themselves via a softcam like, CCcam, etc.

The other route is buying “a line” from a “pay server”. This route is frowned upon by the “enthusiasts” and “hobbyists” and isn’t advocated by the masses here. So don’t ask where you can buy lines as questions of that nature will be met with the utmost contempt.

To install “a line” you will have to paste the line into a config file and FTP the file to the correct location on your box. If you are using CCcam then the CCcam.cfg file should be FTP’ed to the /etc folder on most images. However on OpenATV images you’d have to FTP CCcam.cfg to the /usr/keys folder.
