Remote Control

Hi,

I'm tearing my hair out with the remote control. It seems to be stuck in TV mode because no matter which button I press the TV button illuminates and the remote wont control the VU. I've removed the batteries then retried but nothing will get the remote out of the TV mode. I've looked in the user manual but no joy.
I'm stuck as I cannot even change channels or switch of the box other than total power down.
Any suggestions appreciated

The TV button illuminating when you press any button is standard, so it's not "stuck in tv mode".
When you removed the batteries did you replace them with new ones?

Many Thanks for that Satcat. Over the last 2 - 3 years I never noticed that the TV button always illuminated.
I've spent the last 1/2 hr on the internet and found the codes for resetting the remote back to default.

"Press 1 & 6 buttons together until TV button glows red then enter 996 on the keypad. I then set the remote for the Vu Duo by holding the 2 & 7 buttons again until the TV button was a steady red then entered 0001 on the keypad for the Vu Duo and I'm back in business BTW I did replace the batteries with new ones
