motorised dish problem

Hi hope this has not been answered before I have searched but to no avail, I have a dreambox 800 se with a motorised dish had no problem until a few weeks ago the dish stopped working tried renewing channel list, factory reset, bought a new motor but still could not get it to work, today I borrowed a friends dreambox 800 Hd replaced my old motor and reset all the setting and bingo finding all the satellites, reinstated my own box not working, does anyone have any had this problem and managed to fix it? or any suggestions I could try.

Hi

Have you insert your correct Datas ? ( Longitude/Latitude )
and have you set in the same settings Window the Menue Point
Rotor is exclusively controlled by this Dreambox to yes ?
Have you also set in the Menue Setup/System/Customize
the Point : Enable multiple bouquets to yes
This settings Works for me on all my DM Boxes 800se/8000/7080
if thoose settings will not Work on your Box maybe the Tuner
of you Box has an Defect

Thanks for your quick reply yes I have put the right latitude and longitude setting the rotor is in full control but there is no option to allow multiple bouquet the last option on the screen is rotor turning speed which is set to fast and the two options after that are missing.So do you think it's the tuner at fault?

Hi

Go to the Menue/Setup/System/Customize an set the 1th Menue Point : setup Mode : to Expert than you will have more
setting options in the same Menue include Enable multiple bouquets
Also i would recomand you to do a Software Update,don´t no which Image you use,i use
DMM Org Experimental Images on my Boxes and Update my Boxes via Telnet or via
the Boxes Software management.
If all this Steps don´t Work for you try to Flash the Box from scratch on may this will Help.

Otherwise your Friends Box Work on the same system so have you tryed the same settings
from the DM800 ( Friends Box ) on your 800se ? will this Work ?
it´s difficult from a distance to make a diagnosis but the possibility of a defect tuner is quite given

Yes I have got the menu on "expert mode" and it's options are the same as your inset picture but the last two options on your list or not there on mine, also compared settings on my friends dreambox, not sure how to find the firmware but it's the original firmware software management "blackhole with Sunray 4 sim2"been along time since I upgraded firmware and I believe it's done though the network now not with a lead to a computer as when I last did it on Eagle box will have to get up to speed with that.

As you have a Clone ( Sunray ) i don´t no how and
what Image you have to use for Updates,Sorry
but don´t use DMM Org Images this Images will never Work on your Box
Maybe someone else,with a Clonebox,could Help you better than i can.
