last week i ordered another mygica box for messing around purposes
mygica have there own version of kodi at moment its 14.2
and they do recommend that on their boxs you use their version of kodi
shortly they will be releasing a 15.1 version...just for their box
on this box it came with kodi 14.2 preinstalled
i started up the box...then went to apps...settings...more settings
came down to apps...found kodi...and uninstalled
then after downloading kodi from kodi site on my laptop
i put it on a usb stick
then on front end mygica ..i inserted my usb stick ...
i then opened applications...and selected appinstaller
i was then given 2 options...choose device to scan apks
1= local disk
2= usb
i selected usb...there i saw kodi 15.1.1-lsengard-armeabi-v7a.apk
i clicked on that...i was then asked if i wanted to install...i said yes
i would say it took about 30 seconds to install...i also got asked about a google privacy check etc..i declined
now i came out of that...went to frontpage..and clicked on kodi...started first run...said it was kodi 15.2 rc
after looking in apps versions..i saw there its kodi version 15.1
i then went to add scource...installed tvaddons,,and tried it out...
since doing this i have installed all my fav repos etc...ran this for over a week...works faultlessly
just for testing purposes...i went to apps..uninstalled kodi
then went to settings..more settings...and did a box reset...
it worked faultlessly..putting everything back to when purchased....ie 14.2 mygica kodi version
