Whats the pc minimum spec requirements for Kodi ?

I have an old xp laptop with a 1.66G processor and 1.5GB of ram, would this ok to run Kodi ?

My first attempt failed as the version I loaded came with a load of crapware, I did a restore point before I loaded it so back I've gone.

I got no option to accept the crapware it just came with the download, unless it was extremely well hidden.

Kodi wont run on xp
if its xp32b you will have to use xbmc-12.3-Frodo

if you dont use the laptop for anything
format the hdd and stick OpenELEC kodi on it

I put kodi on a old laptop of a friend a few weeks ago...who then connected it by hdmi lead to tv..

1.3 processor...1gig of ram...windows xp
i got the kodi from kodi site...kodi frodo as ozsurf says
he has nor said of any problems yet

frodo is a old version of xbmc

the problem with frodo on xp is
a lot of the addons wont run

they are built for kodi

as i said try OpenELEC on that laptop
but i think the specs of that lappy might not be up to it
