Switching sealines

Hi guys is there any way of switching between sealines on a vu+solo2, apologies in advance if i have broken any rules. jo90

you could just put your new one in the config and use both, or delete the old one.

Hi Scrupples, i was thinking more along the lines that when 1 sealine is glitching being able to switch to the other one. I have two active lines in my config file and it doesnt appear to automatically switch if one is playing up. I'm new to Linux boxes so maybe i'm missing something

I don't know how Cccam chooses from multiple C-lines but when one expires completely it takes a minute or so to select a working one.

Probably a question that can only be answered by the authors of the task.

there was a cccam plugin for this task, because I remember trying it a few years ago on my dreambox or duo

some sort of cccam config switcher tool, accessed from plugins

check the vu and dreambox plugins or tools forums, plus check the online plugins from your image for a config switcher

I seem to remember another thread, on this subject, and involving the VU+ Solo 2.

If i use OpenVIX as an example they support the following Config files
CCcam.cfg

N: noip port user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
C: noip port user pass
CCcam_0.cfg

#CONFIGFILE NAME=ORIGINAL
N: noip port user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
C: noip port user pass


CCcam_1.cfg

#CONFIGFILE NAME=ONE
N: noip port user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
CCcam_2.cfg

#CONFIGFILE NAME=TWO

To switch between config files
Blue, CCcam Info Menu & scroll to Either ORIGINAL <or> ONE <or> TWO

and you can edit the config file names to suite yourself

I think I was answering a different question; that is, what happens if a CCcam.cfg has several C-lines.

I take the mild criticism that searching Pimps first is a good idea but the problem is that posts from a while ago may not be relevant - CCcam has changed quite a bit over time. For example, one year ago it was at version 2.0.10

does the same thing apply to mgcamd Nlines , if I want to use several Nlines as I have one that only works on Astra 28 and wanted to add another NLine for a different satellite Astra 19 and hot bird 13.
