can gift/iks still be renewed on old sb9000? or new 60000

hi all have old sb9000 when gift expired I renewed it through gw, this is a while back.

I have had 2 sb6000 since, the gift expires next week.

I have always thought the 9000 had slightly better picture quality than 6000.

bit unsure as whats best for me to do renew 9000 if possible ,or new 6000.
