Hi all,

Ive had this stb for 3 months.

Ive have not been involved with setup etc. I had it done.

Now its seems that there is a problem with start up.

The error log says its a software problem.

could i be guide as a newbie what I need to do, eg reloading vix etc

This would be a good place to start.

Who told you that? BH is compatible with ALL the cams that are public and have been compiled for mipsel based boxes (Your VU Duo2 for example). You should go back and read the guides again - maybe even a couple of times if you don't understand them fully.

Thought the essence of a forum was being interactive and rendering help.

Well the caveat prior to download on the link indicates that it will not support cccams.

BH will not offer support for cccam etc but you can install them and they work fine

I can assure you your box does work with CCCam, and I don't see the point in posting you a guide - when their is already one made. If you can't figure the guide out that's already posted, you won't be able to follow a guide which I would post.
Suffice to say on your box - CCcam/Oscam/Mgcam/Doscam/Newcamd/Scam and a few others work just fine and I have personally tried each and every one of those so can confirm that.

Possibly another problem.

The stb now states that it has encountered a software problem and will restart in 10 sec.

It has not restarted and when switched off, the same message reappears after some time.

Is this fatal?

Its not possible for anyone to tell you whats wrong until you upload your crashlog for members to examine.

Ian.
