hi all...heres how far ive got so far...done a factory reset and think ive started from scratch
got channel list on usb courtesy of william 1 on here....tried phantompatch 138p for m3 and it wouldn't accept it
then found patch 141 for m2 which ive now loaded....goodness knows.....any help would be a start for me....I like a challenge....im new to this....I was fine with triple dragon a few years ago and cas3 interface for cams....any help would be much appreciated

you cannot load an M3 patch on an M2 model

Cheers digicon, so seems he has two choices of either 025P (test) or 144P for the LATEST M2 patch?

hi again......ive loaded 144P onto the box and put channel list back on again....theres 1000s of channels.....ive looked on some of the satellites but not found anything so far that opens....don't know if anyone can recommend specific sats to check out...ive got motorized setup from 30 west to 39 east....I don't get signal on all the sats....im in southern spain with a 1.2 metre dish....if anybody knows of some beginners guide for this box it would be much appreciated....theres not much help in the user manual...thanks in advance for any help

Hi I am in southern spain 4.8 E works well on a small dish 60cm. PowerVu channels clear Discovery network, Euro Sport 2, Paramount channel , Diva plus others. If you get no joy keys are available and can be entered manually to the CAS menu

fta channels on 13e and 19e should also work, so euronews , bbc world news , al jaz etc

hi again everyone....just thought I would give an update on how things are progressing
ok....heres the sats I get signals on...7.3W. 5W. 4.8E. 9E. 13E. 16E. 19E. 23.5E. 26.2E. 28.2E. 39E. I get the fta channels on these but so far nothing else

ive got the 144p patch on here and loaded the latest keys from here but cant open anything on 4.8E or 39E
no worries.....theres loadsa weird and wonderful fta out there...im having fun playing.......ive not tried to load any biss keys manually but ive noticed theres 16 blocks of 2 rather than 8 of 2 which I have to load on my icecrypt stb occasionally for 27.5W...not for a year now.....anyway I would just like to say thanks to all for your help....I shall have another play tomorrow and keep you posted with any progress

ive found a few that open on 13E......SRF1. SRF zwei. RTS un. RTS DEUX. RSI LA 1. MEZZO....its a start....there are so many to scroll through to check but it wont be tonight

hi again everybody...not used this box for a couple of months now...decided to have another play with it...just bought a trial 7 days cccam for 2 quid to have a play
ive downloaded cccam.cfg to put all the details in and loaded onto usb stick...now I am becoming unstuck...ive tried the 8281 options to enter them but things get uploaded from there to usb stick...ive now tried via data transfer from the usb stick to STB...that seems to transfer but I don't know where it goes
also im not sure where to leave gaps...ive put on replacement server gap username gap password on 1 attempt
then tried the other option which starts C: with the other info but also with the portal number between replacement server and username
any more info will be much appreciated

thanks for all the help...getting my head round it now
what I cant figure out is how to change the status from disconnected to connected
when I scroll with the remote I can only highlight server protocol and active
when I scroll further to status it reverts back to server
am I a muppet or missing something

in say connection_0

fill in the blanks and set to cccam or newcamd depending if its a c line or an n line

so after making it cccam , then you add (by remote control)

name in the ID line
password (obvious)
full server address
port (5 digits)

save and exit

then on connection_0 , press RED button to connect

if the line is valid, it will come up GREEN connected , otherwise it will stay disconnected

to re-edit the connection, you have to press the GREEN disconnect button, then you can edit it if you wish to

each connection can be a different line

wow echelon thanks for such a quick reply...I did try this yesterday but stupidly put my name in ID
ive done it again with the code sent for ID...it connected immediately when I pressed red button but box didn't change to green though
ive had a play and lots of channels open....maybe I wont have to get the knitting out now...lol
seem to be sorted now

I might be thinking of a blade 7000s or a similar box based on similar principles but the basics were correct, even if it doesnt go "green" when connected

long as it works , thats the main thing
