Changing Satellite setings from Diseq to USALS

im thinking of Changing Satellite setings from Diseq to USALS as i've had signal problems to see if it makes any difference
Can i just keep the channel list i have on Diseq and just enter in my longitude and latitude and the settings are saved on my list of my ticked satellites?

should not affect your channel list i use the 36v type motor and receiver so no diseqc motor

Should not have any problem. I regularly change between them on my Spiderbox 9000.
if my signal seems to be low on a channel.It's handy if I am searching a Sat that I do not use regularly.
