Ordering new movies by date?

Using Blackhoile image.
Can new movies added to a hard disk be ordered by date added (desc) on the hard disk as I would like the most recent I've copied over onto it to be on top of the list?
At present they are ordered by name (asc).

The only way I can think of is by creating 12 new folders, 'Added Month 1', 'Added Month 2' etc that would be the nearest thing I can think of, and then archive them by years into new folders.

thats the sort of method I use, certainly by having year folders and you could have sub folders inside , either 01 to 12 or similar

Don't know about BH but with PLI you can use the blue button (sort) to change the order of the listings
or with Enhanced Movie Centre (EMC) you can use the green button
