Which internal cam for Irdeto 2 on 39° E

Which cam is suitable for clearing thwe Irdeto 2 channels on 39°E?

A forum search (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/search.php?searchid=672226) tells me it should work with any EMU/CAM that can work with the softcam keyfile. e.g. oscam_ymod.

The forum search also seems to indicate that it might no longer be opening even though recent, updated keyfiles have been posted.

If you are referring to Nova sports and Diema, they are still opening with latest keys.

Most of the plums are on diema sport 1 + 2 now which are in Bulcrypt only, not in Irdeto.

Fact is that I can open Nova Sport and Diema when I insert my Diablo module into the VU+ Duo2. But I am unable to open these channels with any of the internal cams which are installed in my Duo2. Those are: CCam, doscam 0.25, Oscam unstable and Oscam_ymod. I wonder why.

I once tested them with Oscam,running Black Hole, and I think they worked, after loading the latest keys file, in the correct location, but that was a long time ago, when i first got mu#y VU+ Duo 2, and using an early version of Black Hole.

mgcamd 1.35a and above and oscam y mod will work just fine... usr/keys (softcam.key) etc/tuxbox/config (oscam.keys)

On a DM600 and DM800 I found that mgcamd1.35a worked best. One problem was that the various cams wanted a slightly different format.

I can't remember which was which but try putting both types in your Softcam file

eg. I 060400 0? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
and I 0604 0? xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

where ? is the key ID

Strange things have happened. As suggested by you I installed mgcamd 135a and reinserted all the Dreambox keys, and suddenly the Nova and Diema channels opend with oscam_ymod.
I still do not understand what mgcamd 135a has to do with oscam_ymod. But the most important thing is, that it works.

mgcam (https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/CAMS/)d 1.35a is just an alternative cam. I think it was one of the first to include Bulsat code.

I can open the Irdeto channels with Mgcamd 1.38, but not with oscam ymod 18.56. If anyone can, please tell me how. :confused:
