Hi guys, I've been away from this site for about 4 years or so due to moving from a house to a flat meaning I couldnt take my motorised dish and dreambox. It left me with using kodi and streams but I'm sick of buffering probs...

I've done some research on IPTV but I've just jumped in and bought a MAG 254 box. Have I made a good decision? Reassure me :P

Like anything - you get what you pay for - seeing these boxes are cheap and not very powerful and only as good as the software that's installed on them - you can decided yourself on that one in a few weeks time. Amazon has varied reviews on them. I personally have a decent sat box and various android devices that can all stream IPTV stuff so have no need for one of these boxes so I just used google and TBH - if you want to stream IPTV and find some good sources for streaming from, well i guess you will get your money's worth.

I have been using a MAG254 to supplement my sat tv etc for over a year now and its great mate - all depends on the deal you can raise with your provider of course!

Heh, two mixed repsonses :p

Holm, I`ve got a trial lined up with a provider that sounds alright. Will let you know how I get on with that.

Hi I'm with Holmroad on this, had one for a while now and it supplements my sat system very well so far haven't missed a game I wanted to see. Quality can vary from crap to very reasonable (all depends on the stream) but a great choice of channells, so very pleased with the 254. There could be better out there but happy with this.
Take care on your provider choice that can give a good and bad impression

Cheers geoffh. Yea, that's my thinking too about the provider playing a big part in the quality of the service. Not an easy thing to guarantee without a recommendation (and a delicate subject to broach, so certainly not asking for suggestions).

Had full Bein Sport package this past month or two on my sub, so that really does add to the footie options on Saturdays afternoons, plus quality pretty good too!
