spiderbox 9000hd menu fault

Hi when i go into menu and go into satellite search or manual scan spiderbox immediately reboots all other menus work fine, any ideas on this problem would be great thank you.the fault began while i was doing a manual scan

How many channels have you already got stored?
Have you checked for any shorts, from the LNB, to the receiver? Check both F Connectors.
If possible try connecting it to another dish/LNB, even a fixed Sky dish, and try a scan.

installation is fine i have deleted channels from menu but still the same when i try a scan

try deleting dead transponders as well as dead channels, including radio channels

keep the total number of tv and radio channels below 9999 , preferably a lot lower

Thanks guys all fixed patch on box was from 2011 so loaded latest patch 2012 and bingo all working flawlessly
