Please comment on latest TM5402HD M3 patch 142P

Hi, we have finally got our long promised new patch from Phantom for the TM5402HD M3 (plus F3/5) number 142P - goodness know what happened to patches 140 & 141P lol!! - but please comment on how you find it performs over the next few days after trying it out - just like me!!

NB: Powercisco actually posted Phantom's patch on Pimps, so thanks to him for that too!

Yes mate, M3's going quite cheap now, but rumours of TM bringing new non-Linux out in next few months too!

Patch 141p for me no use at all long wait for a very botched Patch..Just Hardstation works but HS2 gone ??
BUGS With New patch after Blind scanning New channels are not saved ...when exit Blind scan dish moves to different satellite :frown:
and quite a lot of channels are missing after blind scan has finished , just no good ..back to patch 139p untill these issues are resolved which maybbe will be Never it looks like : ))

Progress report 142P:-
For ME at least all still going well with patch 142P, I haven't suffered ANY of the issues referred to by Barney above - as far as I know - but apparently we may be awaiting yet another new patch to fix many remaining issues in the near future!
I had previously reverted to patch 138P as had found patch 139P unreliable, thus again proving how very varied are the various experiences currently being experienced with these Phantom patches!

Just for Info:
This model is done for Middle east and Africa Market from Strong not Technomate. Technomate change just OEM even in the book they have forgot in fist step to take of Strong stb Picture on their manual. Anyway in Middle east and Africa no one use Disqce Motor or Usuals ..that why no one will fix that...Is same batch just change OEM and Cosmetic OSD not proper software dedicated for UK customers..

Yes mate, this thread IS about patch 142P, but I was simply answering ajp's query about going from M2 to M3 - and hinting that maybe he should at least think about waiting a bit longer as it has been rumoured for some while that TM 'may' be bringing out a new non-Linux box and didn't want him to risk wasting his money 'IF' that actually happens!

i fail to understand just Why can @ Phantom not just put out a new Patch based on Patch 138p that works perfectly and fix Hardstation URL ??
it really should be quite an easy fix without messing about with adding any other garbage just simply fix the Dead URL thats all ..nothing more nothing else ??

Yes guys, HS on 142P no longer opening properly - hadn't noticed as rarely use it, contrary to certain rumours elsewhere!! - it displays all the little option boxes (bit like walking down that street in Amsterdam, lol) - but none of them will actually open when selected!
I personally don't really see the need for all this anyway, so maybe Phantom will knock it (HS) off his next patch totally?

As discussed elsewhere, if it's there it should be more reliable. I'm not a regular user but like things to work. Agree, better to remove it completely if it has to be updated all the time.

I'm still finding 142P performing pretty well, for MY use at any rate, but obviously we aren't all the same in our expectations for our M3's etc!

when i click video it WILL play it but only for 20secs then Frozen
i guess since Technomate just can not be bothered to give any further support for their boxes this is The End !! :ack2:

Just blew the dust off the old 5402 and upgraded from 127 to 142. I think I have a Mk 1 so am I being too optimistic about what 'other' features this may bring? Utube and TM online don't work but I can see weather details! Maybe time to update myself :).

Patch 142Pis for M3 ONLY mate!
Personally I'm using 146P for MY M3 and not 142P anyway - but if you really DO have an M1, suggest you try the following patches:-

(NB: Please ignore the M2 file below if necessary, which I uploaded in case you had an M2 rather than M1 or M3!)

Thats when support Ended from Technomate :ack2:
But neither Hard Station or AFN PowerVU works i'm afraid....
