IPTV problems

Hi,

I do use an ethernet connection for my sb 6000. However, the iptv hardly runs for a minute before it starts reloading.
Im using one of the old boxes and my patch is the iks version.

Is there anything to do to rectify this problem?

Which one of the older receivers, as you may find the answer to your query in the relevant section of the spiderbox forum.

Hi,

Im sure the box is a bit over 2 years. Sorry cant be more specific. I referred to the patch as I dont believe it compatible with the mscam.

Ive looked in the forum but cant seem to find help.

Would be grateful for directions

check the date of the firmware installed in the system info part of the menu

if its older than oct 2015 then it needs updating

backup your channel list first, to a fat32 formatted usb stick

turn off the cccam lines and IKS and anything else like that (set to none)

set the networking to ethernet and not wifi (if needs be)

factory reset the box and reboot

then use the IKS patch in here

download , unpack and install it from a fat32 usb stick

then factory reset again

reload channel list (and set the usals GPS details if using usals)
or use the compass list from dec 2015 from the channel list section

enable the networking and cccam and IKS as necessary (if used)

use the online update in the menu to update the softcam (for 39e etc)

use the online update for IPTV list 1 (only list 1 is used now)

then test it all out
