no upgrade by network

i brought new hd6000 from lee got mscam working apart from it freezez and reboots on some chanels i have no upgrade by network showing

have you put the latest mscam patch onto it ? (by usb stick)

its dated oct 2015 (check the info in the menu)

in that case I dont understand your problem

if you have put in a channel list like the compass list then it should work

I have no idea what you are trying to do with any channel list over the network, not unless you are trying to update the channel list from an online list on the spider site ?

my advice ? just use the dec 2015 channel list by compass, its simple , quick , easy and can be done by usb stick

and as you are new to this box , follow the tutorials and sticky threads

Did you complete this section of the setup procedure:

To get extended Menu options goto Menu / Others and press 1111, this will give you 3 extra options at the bottom of the list.
Go to ‘Network’, scroll down to IKS and press register OK, will then show Connection Status as Connected and expiry date.

In my spiderbox 6000 latest version, that is all there is, S/W Upgrade & S/W Backup, and No Upgrade by Network. As In this version we have MSCam and Not IKS.

The following info was included in the latest patch for your receiver:



Spiderbox/Smartbox HD6000 Patch 19/10/2015

IKS users must use IKS patch
MsCam users must use MsCam patch


Improvements :
Reboot issue from standby fixed (in MsCam patch)

Instructions :
First save your channel list
Go to Network settings & select wired option
Go to Network-Ser*er Setup & turn CCcam, Newcamd lines to off (if you have any)
Load patch
Load your channel list, etc.

In answer to your IPTV Query go to Menu -> Others -> scroll down to IPTV - Press update - and all will be revealed, should you need to update after that then you should the Press Red Button which is Edit - Blue Button which is Delete - the Yellow Button which is Delete All - Press OK - then exit - exit again - you should then press IPTV - Press Blue Button to Upgrade - the Press OK - and once again all will be revealed, I hope that this is of some help to you.
