I've been dabblin g with C Lines, N Lines & all that for a good few years. I always used to use C Lines but the feller I get my subs from has changed to N lines & I cannot get the bugger to work.
Here's my setup:
Vu Plus Duo2 with OpenVix latest image.
N Line from my mate
I have installed the following softcams:
CCcam 2.3.0
MGCamd 1.35a
MGCamd 1.38
Oscam
oscam-latest
I've used the same setup for ages with a C Line but now my missus is going bezerk as I can't sort it.
Does anyone want to do teamviewer & just get the poxy thing to work?
Thanks in advance!
Steve.

Its easy, using MgCamd. go to usr/keys/and edit newcamd.list.
CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = 192.168.1.1 20000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
edit this line accordingly
CWS = 192.168.1.1 20000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

for cccam v2.30 , try adapting this line and add to your CCcam.cfg in var/etc
N: server1.dns.net 21000 user1 password2 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
N: denotes N line
then add the server
then the port from the host
then the username login
then the password login
then 01 through to 14

for mgcamd , as mentioned earlier, use the newcamd.list in usr/keys
CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS = YourDNS.no-ip.org 21000 user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
which is CWS equals
Then the server
Then the port
user
password
01 through to 14
make sure the 2 ports match

something like this should work in the oscam.server file
[reader]
enable = 1
label = servername.dns.org
protocol = newcamd
device = servername.dns.org,21000
key = 0102030405060708091011121314
user = user1
password = password2
disableserverfilter = 1
group = 5
caid = 0963
alter the various info to match the N line you were given

In oscam you also need to put the CAID value - for example Sly UK is 0963
