Good morning all

Please a question,on my vu+ duo 2 after i have downloaded cats eyes settings please in which folder do i put them in e.g var,etc

or where? Sorry to be a nuisance i am new to this but enjoying setting my stb up,know doubt there will be more questions

I use the program dreamset v248 myself, you double click dreamset.exe and set it up and choose ENIGMA2 V4 (HTTP Reload) , then you point it at the unpacked catseye list (the lame.db file) and transfer to your box

alternatively use the program dreamboxedit (use the latest version) and do something similar

those are the 2 main tools to backup or install a settings list (like catseyes or your own list)

the tutorials do tell you some of this as regards installing a catseye list (the sticky threads in all the VU discussion forums here) , but it tells you to use the tool VuCC 0.8

after downloading the list , unpack to your laptop using 7zip, this is where you browse to from those tools

edit, extra info on setting up dreamset

for setting it up, do this

Config - boxname (choose your own)
Box IP - local ip number (like 192.168.0.10 etc)
username - this is normally root
password - this you have added using telnet and passwd command
Firmware - Enigma2 ver 4 (HTTP reload)

FTP - Port - 21
HTTP Port - 80
Telnet Port - 23

save and test
