I have problems with sound goes into garbeled mode

Any suggestion please

I have to do a hard reset and then it works fine

by what method is it connected that gives you this issue ?

hdmi to tv ?

surround sound system ?

Wireless sound bar. .but it's the same on the TV ..with Hdmi

Can't say if Its works hard wired to sound bar. But I will try that over the weekend
But really strange hard reset.cures it

well, you answered the last questions but not the first two questions

how do you expect people to help you if you only give one-liner posts ?
with no real information ?

do you think there is only one image for the vu duo 2 ?

or several ?

do you think that there is only one release of each version ?

or multiple releases of each version ?

in future, please try the opposite approach of giving as much info as possible, (but no personal details that would identify you)

that is unless you do not wish to tell us the actual image name, the version number or the production letter (if any), which is your prerogative of course

in the current case, it should be tested wired to the tv and see if the fault remains , so hdmi or phono or scart only

the more connections that are introduced , like wireless and soundbars etc, the more chance of faults

The VU+ Duo 2 isn't a plug, and play, receiver, you need to do a lot of reading, and learning, to get the most, out of your receiver, as it's capable of so much, when set up correctly.

What type of satellite setup, do you have? Motorized dish, fixed dish, with multiple LNB's, etc?
Have you loaded any image, or just left it with the VU+ software?
Did you get it from Goldwafers, so you can be certain it's genuine, and not a clone?

are you telling us that you have Blackhole 3.01F on your box ? (note the image version 3.01 and update letter F) ?

I doubt you have the latest openvix v4.0.003 on your box, but is this the "latest software" you refer to ? (I doubt it as its a march 2016 image)

if you do have openvix on the box , its likely to be a variant of version 3

so I dont think your statement is correct , hence why I was asking for clarification, which you ignored in your subsequent reply

both myself and mickha have no idea what you are referring to, because your statement means nothing at all , you should not even be writing it when referring to a vu

your statement should say something like this

No problem at all
What ever i did wrong its cured,now
