View Full Version : Help!!!! Is my motor dead???
I do have a motorised dish attached to my 6000hd. After the storms, it seems I cant get the motor to move. Ive tried resetting it no luck.
Ive notice there is signal strength but no quality
Other than buy a new motor is the anything I can do?

Hi
Not really a Spiderbox problem but try re-aligning your dish up to your reference Satellite (the storm must have offset it or let wet it, so check the connections)

Thanks. apologies for the late response

When you state theat you have tried re-setting the motor, was this on the motor itself, or using your receiver?
Have you physically examined your motor/dish?
It could be as simple as a loose/damaged connection, which would explain the complete loss of signal, but equally the storms could have moved your motor/dish, or even damaged your pole.
Please provide more detailed information, and if possible pictures.

Did you remember to Dis-connect the cable from the Motor when you tried to re-set it?
