hi all,

A question is it possible on the vu+ duo2 to show only the free to air channels so that the scrambled channels are hidden?

The simplest method is to only add FTA channels, in your Bouquets.
You could use Dreeamboxedit, to download your channel list, to your PC, delete all the scrambled channels, then upload it back, onto your receiver, but far easier to just put the channels you like, and view regularly, in various Bouquets.
Have you read the VU+ guides, started by Lee, of Goldwafers?

Yes, either create your own bouquets containing only FTA channels using dreamboxEdit or similar software
or when you scan a satellite only scan for FTA channels

duo 2 for fta channels only surely something cheaper would do the job and you could do a fta scan and easily delete channels with handset remote with many cheap sat receivers
