Installing Custom Firmware Failure on 1600CHD SE .....Help !!

Hi, I am a complete newbie to this. I have just bought a new 1600CHD SE (not sure what the differences are with the SE model) I followed the "Idiot's Guide" and backed up Factory Firmware to USB - no problem.

When I tried to install Custom Firmware file S1600C_1.6.41_EMU.abs via USB port A, all went normal.
I selected all SW + Channel List then after selecting Start, clicked OK - message said.... Reading Data... followed by.... "Check Software Version Error".

I have tried reformatting the USB stick to Fat32 and NTFS and re-downloading the file - no difference.

Can anyone, please HELP me !!

This is old firmware.
Go to menu >internet>ftp upgrade and connect.
This should be the latest patched firmware.
You could then load your channel list from your backup.
