Hi all,
I have recently bought a duo2 with black hole 3.0.1 pre installed.
I have a s@y dish and a quad lnb. I'm in the uk so I guess the satellite is Astra 28.2 E?
1st time I ran the wizard I managed to see some channels but I didn't like the look of the epg so I tried cross epg and I lost everything
I have run through the setup wizard again several times and can't seem to see any channels.
I have done a factory reset but some settings remain?
When I run the wizard now and try to see default service lists it tells me none exists.
I have mounted a usb stick and a hdd.
Any ideas on how I should proceed?
Thanks

install the catseye settings list (channel list - bouquet) from the E2 settings forum here
use either dreamset, or dreamboxedit , or VuCC to load it into your box
if you choose the latest 28.2e list it should give you your channels
crossepg is used to populate the epg for your channel list, ideally stored onto a rear mounted and formatted usb stick

So do all the EPG's work the same then by populating from the channel list?
I followed the guide posted above and downloaded the Catseye list and also the CCCAM.(didn't realise you had to do that too!!)
Anyway I now have channels so thank you both.

yes , they usually do and do in this case
so you had not installed a channel list, not all the files were present and if you scanned it wouldnt pick up all that was required needing a lot of manual entry and scanning and moving channels about
so the FAQ GUIDES are there to go through the basics to get you up and running , as you found out
the epg plugins either use OTA epg data , or internet epg data , or a combo depending how you set them up (like crossepg)
good luck
