Channel names and frequencies would help @4.8 (5.0E )

Take a look here, might help:-

It depends which channels, on 4.9E, you're trying to get, as some are difficult.
Try tuning in some on the Europe BSS beam, with a strong UK signal, like 11766 H 27500.

Also google search for King of Sat & select Astra 4.8 East

Many of the transponders changed FEC to 5/6 over the weekend

So you may start search & be wondering why your dish/box isnt picking owt up

Usals does not store any changes you make when moving the Dish, only Diseqc does this. You will need to check
your dish settings, if you find that you increase the signal by stepping the motor in Usals.

Not quite sure what you mean here mate, as I am on USALS with my TM5402HD M3 and 1.1m dish, also not far away from original poster but in North Lincs - and my blind scans always pull in most, if not all, available in UK!
Or if you are actually discussing merely setting up 4.8E from scratch for the satellite list, my satellite scan soon finds 4.8E loud and clear too!

As per the last sentence in the original post...." My dish settings are set Usals, I have tried to adjust using dish move steps, alas, no joy.
I was merely pointing out that you can not store step adjustment with Usals, you can only store step adjustments using Diseqc.

Maybe mate, but as with everything suppose you'll have to weigh up the pros & cons as to whether it's worth the extra cost to gain these channels anyway?
