My old TM 6900 has expired with constant freezing, etc. :o10: Anyway, what would be recommended to replace this? I like the idea of a receiver with wi-fi connectivity for lines, but easy to work like the TM and value for money. Thanks for any suggestions.
Just one more thing - I have a hard-drive with recordings to still view. Would a replacement TM use/play the same file format? Is there a program known that would convert these to another format(mkv, etc)?
Thanks.

Have you considered having a look at the capacitors inside mate, as they often fail and can be replaced quite cheaply!
Suggest you also have a look through old threads about this, as I managed to repair mine a few years ago before I changed to my TM5402HD M3!

(Take a look here - especially well into thread!

It MIGHT help!)

Thanks holmroad. I had a read. Does seem to be the 8281 and HD channels that affect the TM. I have convinced myself I need an upgrade. You mention the 5402 - what is it like? Do you know anything about the F3/5? Thanks.
