Surely you could just do a Blind Scan on 28 east and get all the latest channels for that Sat.

you don't state which box you havebut if you have a linux box theres a plugging called auto bouquet updater .

You don't need a channel editor to Blind scan a Satellite, have a read of the 'Satellite Setup Section' in the Setup Guide Sticky.

That is perfectly correct, however he may wish to edit out all of the duplicate channels etc, that are on 28 east, and maybe that is why he wants to use the Spiderbox 6000 Channel Editor, however why he cannot get the editor to work in Windows 10 on his PC is another matter. I have just tried the latest Spiderbox 6000 Channel Editor on my PC running windows 10 and the editor works for me, so it must be something at your end that is causing it not to work.

your right aldo something in my pc causing the problem ,the reason i want a channel list is i only watch sports and movies on sly tv so don't want all the other million channels that come on a blind scan

umm just realised we are in the spiderbox 6000 hd forum , there must be a clue in that :)

for info, this thread was INCORRECTLY posted in the spiderbox channel list sub forum (which contains channel lists for various spider boxes), where no discussions are allowed

I moved it this morning from that sub-forum into the spiderbox 6000 discussion forum (the correct forum after the box was specifiednd the forum this thread SHOULD have been posted in), hence the clue may be obvious now but was not obvious when this thread was initially opened

any future channel lists like the compass ones will be correctly posted in the spiderbox channel list sub-forum
