Hi

I received my new Vu+ Solo 4k earlier to day and received a great service from Lee at Goldwafers.

However it appears I am a bit thick and I need to learn fast. I have Astra 28.2 east, seems to be working ok. I have Usual set up in positioner and correct co-ordinates. My dish moves, appearing to go to another satellite location, but can't find any other working channels. On main channel page all channels show not in colour like on Astra but just black and white.

Can anyone tell me how to manually reset the positioner and how to adjust west and east positions a little as I think Astra is out by a fraction.

I also need to know how to change the setting from 720p to 1080p

Cheers for any help you can offer me, its doing my head in.

Thank you

jblo

What image do you have loaded?
Is it the original image, from vuplus.com, Black Hole, or other?
How have you st the tuner configuration?

Hi

Go to the Menu/Setup/System/A/V Settings/ there you can change
the Mode from 760p to 2160p also 1080i or p
If you have the Parameters for Usals set correct i guess you need a
Sat.xml with the other Sat settings to show it correct
for Testing try it with that 1 on i attached itīs the .xml that i use
with an Stab Rotor.

Was the Motor working OK with your previous Stb? If so it would suggest that something is not quite right
with your Usals settings.

Cheers Mobley2

You were quite right, my co-ordinates were way out, I had doubled checked them many times I eventually checked my old STB and was amazed are far the garmin readings I was using were out.

Positioning is now working spot on.

Thanks again to all the help received
