iks on spiderbox

Need some advice about spiderbox 9900hd I have had this box now five years still woking ok my problems is lost a lot of programs on hotbird vod for one and more iks the quality of programs is dropping I thinking of changing receivers that could bring back lost channels and more any recommends would be helpful or is there way to bring life back into spiderbox thanks

Hi cloverleaf I have a Spiderbox 9000 HD, I think your problem might be channels moving on the transponders to different frequencies, at present it is difficult to keep up with this. Best check on Kings of Sat. for Hotbird 13e to see if this has happened, sometimes *ks take time to catch up, if you find a channel has moved, save it on the new frequency to your favorites list, and check it for a while to see if it activates.

Yes they are a bit slow sometimes to update the frequencies on *ks, BTsport 2 changed about a month or more back but still doesn't clear, it happened a few times in the past but eventually got updated.

The Vod stuff has not been available for some considerable time, and I doubt it will ever be available again,
by these means, unfortunately encryption changes and also a lot of channels moving to DVBS-2 on that particular
bird has meant that a lot of channels are no longer available to us. The recent problems with the system certainly
have not helped either.
