IPTV advice needed

I am considering subscribing to an IPTV service.

Is it just a matter of adding the ip address that I will be supplied to the box?

I am not very experienced with IPTV. :)

If it's a Stalker(Mag box) based IPTV, you just add the ip address on 1 of your stalker portals and give them your Mac address.

If its m3u based, they will give you a .m3u file, and you can transfer it to the box via a USB stick in the 'IPTV player M3U' app.
