no idea , never used hypercam and it isnt mentioned in the sticky thread either so I have no idea why you are trying to use it. the last one posted on here was 3 years ago in 2013

the main cams/emus are cccam , oscam and mgcamd , which more people are familiar with

maybe somebody can help you with hypercam, but I come on here daily and cannot recall it being a topic at all

ps:- unless you tell people which image and version number you are using , asking questions is largely irrelevant as answers differ according to the OS being used (same as in windows and android etc)

Hi Echelon,
i'm using BH v 3.0.2
Can you direct me to the best cam to use? I have an N line to install.
I'm very new to this and need all the help I can get.
Many thanks for your help.

each cam/emu has various versions so as I am not using your BH3 I am not sure which you should use and some like oscam change daily although you can use older ones as recommended previously on here in various threads

I think I would start with cccam 2.30 , and mgcamd 1.38 and see if you can get those working, as oscam is more involved but is the best cam

maybe somebody running BH 3.02 will comment on the versions to use of the above, but its where I would start if I upgraded to a BH3 image

also check that the ones you install are recommended versions for BH, not for other images as several OS images exist

your box has many OS variants, dont assume its one size fits all like with a spiderbox or hitech box , its not

also, read all the VU help and discussion forums here, not just this forum , as the same advice applies to vu ALL boxes

Thanks Echelon,
I've installed CCcam 2.30 and activated it.
I'll start reading help topics and see how I get on
Many Thanks.
