Hi folks
As I'm new here is best introduce myself. My names Jim and I'm from Scotland. I'll likely be annoying many of you with pesky questions at some point.

Currently I intend to build a pvr to capture as many free to air programs as possible, wether they be British or broadcast elsewhere.
I've found some useful information from various UK sources so far but tbh most leaves me a little perplexed.

hi , welcome to the forum

try to narrow down what you need and the best boxes for it to start with

the VU boxes with an internal hdd fitted are very good for what you are after, once YOU have set them up

I use the VU SOLO2 , an excellent box (with 1 tB hdd fitted internally and a 16 gig or 32 gig usb stick in the back)
