Hi Guys

I had to have a new motor fitted to my dish, I am running a 1.2 Fibo dish, 36v disecq system through a positioner box.
My Sat guy has wired the motor wrongly, and the dish is moving East when instructed to go West, and vice versa.
I cannot get a hold of my him, it's no answer, no answer, no answer! Not confident enough to go up on the roof to swop the motor wires over they are marked M1 & M2 and connect to same on positioner. My question is if I swap the above mentioned wires over on the "positioner box" will this work and correct the movement of the dish?

Any help appreciated, I'm getting old and may have lost my marbles!

Going the wrong way usually means the dc current to the jack is the wrong way round, swap the two wires that power the jack to the opposite position.

Should this post not have been made in the following section:

https://www.satpimps.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?11-Dish-Discussions

as it has nothing to do with the Spiderbox 6000HD

You can simply swap the M1, M2, wires round, on the V-BoxII, just ensure your dish is back to where it was set up, before you do, otherwise you might have to re-store your satellite positions, which isn't difficult, but is time consuming.
