Please post your comments on how it's performing etc etc on the latest TM5402HD M3 Phantom Patch 146P - as posted on Pimps by our friend powercisco:-

So far so good for me, but the main addition is for that of the Tandberg encryption, which I am trying out today when the EPL footie comes on!! lol!!:respect-044:

Barney, did you get Arena Sport on 39E to open TB transmissions this afternoon at 3pm without having to load new keys mate?

yes no issues found Arena works with jst loading patch as keys are already stored in CAS Menu : )

Thanx Barney, think maybe I'm at fault then here as I hadn't realised we didn't have to put those (Arena 1-5 39E) keys in and started on 1st line of TB putting the 7E IMGA keys in like a prat, in retrospective of course, so have now reinstated line one, yet they (Arena 1-5)still don't seem to work, but they do still on Skycrypt via cs, so it's hard to decipher which is which!!
Maybe I should factory reset and reload patch 146P in an attempt to put things back to square one, but not convinced that would work either!

NB: Many of my 'previous' P/Vu keys had disappeared from patch 145P to 146P and I obviously re-input them - even some of the Biss ones seemed to not be tying up to their resoective channels, but maybe that's just me? lol!!

first 6 Tandberg slots on new patch are Arena Sport Keys
you obviously deleted them by overwriting manually and entered incorrectly : )
Yes some PowerVU keys will need entered again
it just took a few mins for me as i have a text file first with all active working PowerVU Keys and their slots
Only then i load new patch and copy the PowerVU Keys back again
its very fast when i have all the right keys made up in a text file Already :D
Arena Sport works perfect just make a text file with all your PowerVU Keys then load new patch again
BISS Keys are not affected or changed at all .

Next saturday i will look but im certain if any advertised EPL games will be shown i certainly will investigate after this boring International Football break stops and EPL Games return again ,

I have the patch installed now on my new box. I am trying to use my WiFi dongle and I do not see WiFi in the IP menu. Could this be due to the patch as my dongle should be compatible as it was bought with receiver?

Please be more explicit mate, exactly 'WHAT' dongle are we discussing here, as not really that familiar with 'dongles'! lol!!
(i.e make, type, etc)

The "dongle" allows the box to be networked via wifi. It usually gets plugged into the RJ45 socket on the back of the box which in my case is connected to a home plug based network. I would guess that this dongle needs to have it's own power supply in order to work correctly.

I have a new working dongle and I tried IPTV but none of the channels appears to work. Is it expected?

IPTV working pretty well for me via Ethernet connection & loading via USB as usual mate!

Sadly I was unsuccessful when I attempted to download the Phantom Patch onto my Technomate 5402 M3. It was probably me. Memory stick used and plugged into USB. Downloaded onto receiver and correct information displayed. It went a bit wrong after that. Is it possible for a helping hand and someone with patience to take me through it step by step. Thank you.

best i can do is advise you look at the stickys in the technomate forum about correct way to load patches...plenty of guides on utube to.

The 'accepted' patching process has been outlined many times on Pimps guys, but for those who haven't seen it, here is the gist of it:-

1) Back up existing Channel List to USB memory stick
2) Make note of Satellite settings (your current position N/W, USALS,etc
3) Factory Reset
4) Switch off at back power toggle switch for up to 40 secs, then on again
5) Load latest patch, currently 146P from either USB memory stick (unpacked) or within from TM Online in Options Menu
6) Factory Reset again
7) Switch stb off/on again for up to 40 secs as in 4) above
8) Load backed up (or other version if choice) Channel List from 1) above

Off you go!

NEW Tandberg Security Added on these Feeds
7 East IMG3 EU Feed @ 11021 V 7200 S2 8PSK [ 4:2:0 ] - IMG UK EPL Feed - **NOTE WHEN Encrypt in BISS Feed works ** !!
10 EAST 11298 H 22500 8PSK [ 4:2:0 ] - IMG UK EPL Muxx Feeds

Rest of Tandberg Encrypted Channels remain okay however
EXCEPT FOX Group 42East Turk Beam which has Unknown Tandberg ECM Keys at the moment ! ?
Hopefully Technomate Team can react to this issue with the New Tandberg Security as it already was fixed and working in DVB Cards Last week : )

At this Time Tandberg EPL Feeds in old Tandberg Encryption
LIKE ARQIVA PL CLIPS/GOALS is okay as no changes were made yet .

From what I make of the " Tandberg " situation is...
Tandberg IS (mainly) the feed encryption for the EPL football, On 7e & 10e, this encryption was increased by the feed broadcasters making it un crackable. ALTHO it's now cracked.
WE ARE ALL WAITING for an updated patch hopefully to over come the issues regarding this.
The other Tandberg channels which ARE VIEWABLE THROUGH THE PATCH are still available to watch, subject to updating any changes.

Just one small point mate, the latest M3 patch 146P is dated 1/11/16 - and NOT from 'the summer'!
