I flashed the 3250 with the patched ROM coldasice kindly provided. All went well despite my newbie fear of bricking my new toy.
I plugged in a WiFi stick with a compatible chipset (ralink RT5370N) into the USB port.
With three different phones set to WiFi hotspot the box would find the phone but fail to connect every time.
I tried three different ROM flashes, original, factory update and patched. I tried password and open hotspots. I tested the stick in the PC and it worked fine.
Anyone know what is happening and how to fix it?
I only have my 4g internet here so it's my only option.
I also tried connecting the phone directly to the USB and plugging a wireless access point into the network port. Nothing worked.
