Icecrypt s1600chd Remote problems

I have recently bought the icecrypt s1600 and a new TD Systems TV. My problem is that when I use the remote for the icecrypt it also effects the tv also. I.E. when I press menu button it turns the TVs off. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do about it.
