Hi, having got used to very easily adding/maintaining Channel Lists to my TM5402HD M3 via .ndf formal files, is there any way of doing the same with my son-in-law's Openbox V8S using 'dbs' or 'TP...' format files, as all I have discovered so far is that it's 'all or nothing' within their options and that to edit anything seems to involve 'delete all' and starting again - but all 'manually' and not via USB input for instance?:mad:

If you Google for PVR800-Editor_dbs there are many sat forums with links to download it from and instructions of how to use it :)

Cheers Sandra, the main problem seems to be that most channel lists seem to be only for 28E, whereas I'm seeking 'multisat' channel lists, which scan in fine and channels open ok, but 'collation' is a nightmare - as once scanned in the individual channels are all over the place on each satellite!

That's why I suggested that I'm really seeking something more along the lines of the TM5402HD M3 ones as originated by William-1 elsewhere!
Also, on my own M3 I have gradually compiled my own channel lists over several years - had hoped to do the same with the Open box, but have found editing, deleting etc of channels somewhat limited to say the least!

PS: Seems this edit tool MAY be just the job so will look into it further tomorrow!
Thanks again to all!!:respect-055::respect-055:

Hope you sort it, I did see this one that said it did it but it didn't seem as easy as that other program :)

Thanks for your help Sandra - tried this and get 'diverted' to the site you found, yet after looking at it, it STILL seems to be only for 28E and NOT 'multisat'!

Odd eh, surely SOMEONE must need multisat channels via motorised system on the Openboxes?

You would think so but I must admit I have my Openbox in my bedroom and it is only connected to a fixed Astra 28.2 east dish and I rarely use it.
My main box is a DM8000 and it is in my lounge and one tuner is connected to my motorised dish and the other to the same fixed dish as my Openbox in the bedroom.

Hi,
Have you tried the OPENBOX Upgrade Firmware Channel List by Network? h??p://eopenbox.co.uk/ is a great resource.

Yes thanx mate, but AGAIN it's surely only for Sky UK 28E!!
Its MULTISATELLITES I'm trying to get created for Openbox - and unfortunately the two different formats (Technomate/Clarke Tech ndf & Openbox dbs/TP header) seem to be incompatible so far!

hi holmroad

I sent message, on your email.

Thanks mate, looking at it today, but still mega apprehensive about being able to compile a Multichannel/Satellite List similar to the Technomate/Clarke Tech ones I use on my TM5402HD M3!
