biss codes for icecrypt ?

Hi there
I am due to visit Portugal shortly and have purchased a Icescrypt 1600 receiver and sorted the firmware but I cant find the BISS codes for Intelsat 907 at 27.5 West

can anyone help please.

Hi ricky,if you download the latest firmware for the decoder you will find the current biss codes are already there,also you will get channel 5 with the latest update,also another way to get these is to connect the decoder to internet by lan cable and use the FTP option,if the codes change then this is the best option as you will not heve to manually enter them.The system works well as I am in S Spain near the algarve and have no problems with 27.5W,if you have any issues let us know as i have setup lots of icecrypts for friends here and played with a few dishes so know how to realign them.

is bbc4 hd included in the ftp firmware you are talking about., and is the icecrypt website still working ? i tried earlier to update channel list and it would not connect, you tube was working so it was not my internet server it was on the ice crypt side

I can confirm the site is up. The Latest release is S1600C_1.7.07+27W.abs. I upgraded mine in September. BBC Four is in the channels list together with Channel 5 and Film 4+1 but there is no BBC Four HD

can we enter bbc4hd to the channel list, it dosent come in on a blind scan scanning the bbc transponder ? any ideas out there ?

hi The avalable channels sre shown on king of sat
scroll down to BBC
As you will see BBC Four HD is not on the list
The Blind Scan should show these channels and are restricted unless more channels are released
You cant add what's not available

Hi Villamarre! Where can this combined file be downloaded please? I am buying an Icecrypt S1600 CHD, and can see the download on the manufacturers website but would that have the biss codes also??? New to this forum, so thanks for your help!

Hi sandy t the best place to get latest firmware and codes is from the FTP server on the box itself,connect internet by lan from your router and then go to ftp option in menu ,think its in the internet settings connect to ftp and get the latest sw for 27.5 w and you should be sorted,if you have to reset the settings for 27.5 they are easy to do by adding go to 27.5w in the menu of satellites and then add a new transponder and then inputting 11.495 Vertical
SR: 44100 and scanning using bbc at the bottom of the screen.you should get all the tv/radio channels ok and the codes should be set.any probs drop us a line and i'll be more specific with instructions.
