Kodi17 getting addons

Have put kodi on a few devices and got my preferred addons working. Just been trying it on a new Samsung tab and have got kodi 17beta6. Unfortunately I cannot get any response from the 'install from zip' stage! Anyone any experience with this version?

I have Krypton 17 Beta6 on my PC not on my Tab there i have the last stable Release 16.1 Jarvis
Have you set in the Menue System settings/System/Addons :
Unknown sources to yes ?
as far as i know this is disabled by default in Krypton 17
You may also have a look in the same Menue settings/System/Addons :
Manage dependencies
if all dependencies are enabled
For example i have to install there the Exodus Metadata if i did that not
i got an error Massage from the Exodus Addon

Thanks Hardcover. Had allowed `unknown sources` in both Android settings and Kodi settings. Was not aware of `dependances` but they are all ticked! Will persevere and report back.

Have you tryed it with Kodi 16.1 ?
I have tested it with my Lenovo Tab ( android 5.1 ) and it Works for me
I have connected the Tab to my PC via a DataCable and send a .zip File
into the Download Folder and than installed it with no Problem
