My Dreambox 800 has never been much good at moving the motor to different satellites.
It would move sporadically.
I thought I might have a dodgy motor or dreambox.
I installed catseye settings today and it's working flawlessly.
Could it be a coincidence?
I thought catseyes settings were only for bouquets. Could it of sorted out moving my motor?

Could be the xml file is more accurate than the one you had in the box perhaps?

I'm still a bit of a newbie. I haven't installed a xml file. Does an image come with xml file?
Previously I just configured tuner then scanned satellites manually for channels.

It's back to it's old tricks. Only moving sometimes.
The motor doesn't seem to be getting enough power.
I've increased voltage in settings. Are there any other things I can do?

Are you using a stand alone positioner or is it run direct from the box?
I doubt the settings would have anything to do with it tbh now you mention it
It might be worth asking the question relating to your type of box & what your using to move the dish in either the Dreambox section or the dish section
More people might be able to help you
I wouldn't start your thread about my settings -Use something like Dreambox (Insert Model) & dish motor Issue
Hope this helps
