My neighbour who has just joined has a problem he is not megga technical. He is trying to update a transponder on 13e. The box scans ok but does not recognise all channels. 11727 being one of the problems. I have warned him about his eyesight. Is there a known issue, is there a fix he should know about. He bought this box fully loaded.
I live next door Enigma2 soul.

" 11727 being one of the problems. I have warned him about his eyesight. "

It is just as well you did so, as most of those channels on 11728 V 27500 3/4 are ***** Educational Channels, and are clearing for me, as I have just scanned that frequency, on my Spiderbox 6000, and they appear to take some time to clear.

Hi The 11727V frequency should give the free Spanish channel called Telesur - if your neighbour does not get this channel then its probably dish alignment problem in my opinion. Regards.

Hi
''He bought this box fully loaded !!''.
Could be too many channels? overloading (max 6000 on this model!) Try deleting a few unwanted transponders like the Radio channels then re-scan that frequency

Ta for replies, The deleting a few channels may well work I will speak with him tomorrow, been in Brum today with him, german sausages ???.
When he scans the channels are not loaded into memory and as jbvid says maybe a memory issue. Signal ok. He on my instructions yesterday, has put a usb memory stick in the front port and done a backup. I am not familiar with this box but did have the great spider 7000 up to last year when the Caps started playing up.

Hi all, spoke to neighbour today. He deleted lots of radio channels, did a rescan still the same not finding or saving channels. It finds the odd one but seems corrupt. Is there a rumour about 19e causing a problem?

Sausages?? in Brum German Christmas market also beer and other goodies.

Can't you try the spiderbox on your dish,or try your receiver on his dish?
This will help to eliminate the problem.
You could also try someone else's motorized channel list, that includes those channels.

Good idea Mickha. I will see him tomorrow evening. I will stick my box on his sat dish (fitted by me 7 years ago) may have moved and easy to correct being low on a wall mount. Or he can pop his on my setup although mine is a 1.1m his is 90cm if I remember correctly. Mine on Patio pole mount. Both 42e to 30w

Went to neighbours this evening. Had a look at the box and its limited menu system. Checked the signal this was excellent. Did a network scan always a last resort and this found the missing channels. He will have fun deleting all the sh**e that came in. So all in all Sorted, but i don't really know how we achieved this. Perhaps there will be a uptodate channel list soon and this would help him.
Thanks all for your input.

i forgot to mention he has a very good picture quality with this box.
