If you put a dvb t tuner in you vu box for teresteral channels what buttons on the remote gives u excess to the channels thanks all

You will need to set it up in the tuner option first , then scan same as you would a sat , it will then show it in the sats list .

im using the above info from my duo2 with cable , cant see it being much different on youre box.

@den123, Has your VU+ Solo 4k enabled
the HDR signal which is transmitted in ( HLG )
onto your TV.
What make of TV have you ?.
I have a Hisense 65XT910 and not sure
weather it will enable HLG yet, or
weather it needs a firmware update.
My TV is HDR ready, not been able
to test it yet.

The BBC say that its ( HLG ) broadcast over
the air signal is backwardly compatible
with ( SDR ) and ( HDR ).

HDR is totally different from HLG and both are not backward compatible, Firstly not only does the Vu+ have to have a driver update but also your TV has to support HLG via a firmware update

6th Dec 2016, The BBC has launched its
new standard for High definition television
content that is calls hybrid Log-***** (HLG)
THIS is its VERSION of UHD HDR.

When the BBC refer to backward compatible
they mean.
When the HLG signal is transmitted A SDR old
TV will receive the signal BUT will not see
any change in picture content.
Only TVs able to enable the (HLG) HDR signal
will see an better quality Picture.

There are 2 other variations of HDR One for broadcast which was settled upon with HLG and Dolby Vision which is another HDR hybrid version non of which are backwards compatible with HDR which is the defacto standard for UHD Blu Ray.

I have an LG OLED E6V which has both HDR for UHD Blu ray palyback and it is also has been Dolby Vision Certified but as with everyone else who has a 4K HDR compatible TV we are all in the same boat when it comes to HLG the standard has to be either built into the TV from scratch or be able to have a firmware update at some point later(Hopefully) to be compatible, Also factor in your satellite receiver for HLG broadcast also has to have the same standard either built in from scratch or perhaps a driver update later.

So Basically even though my TV has both HDR10 and Dolby Vision certified from Scratch it still will not playback a HLG transmission until either LG update it with the necessary firmware and just to add it may not be HLG compatible at all or it could be and LG decide to include this standard as a marketing Ploy for next years (2017) models so they have HDR/HLG/Dolby Vision. After all if manufacturers kept upgrading older equipment no one would buy the latest model

@digicon, That's a plus for the LG OLED
having Dolby Vision inbuilt, not sure
think its called a (DV chip) that enables
OLED and ULEDs to view Dolby Vision.

looks like a firmware update to receive HLG.
My Hisense ULED just had its (HDR) firmware
update in September this year, think its only
HDR10.

The BBC are saying.
The BBC TV broadcast over the Air (HLG) is
compatible with SDR and HDR.
They are also saying,
HLGs backwards compatibility is the key for
broadcasting as it allows a single UHDTV
programme feed to serve the new HDR
enabled UHDTV televisions, as well as
standards compliant with
standard dynamic range (SDR) and
UHDTV that have already been purchased.
