Thinking about buying Hitech box

Hi Folks,my Spiderbox 9000hd has just about had it,so am looking at replacements, have looked at the Hitech spec but cannot see if it has an EPG,can anyone confirm this please?
Also looked at VU boxes,don't mind paying the extra,can anyone advise which box would be better/easiest to set up( Hitech or VU).

Hitech does have an EPG.

The Hitech will be much easier to set up. You would need a longer learning curve to get into using the VU Linux system although it is a great system.

Thanks to xanadu & jbvid for your replies.

From what I have read it appears the hitech is similar to Spiderbox,however the IPTV side of the Hitech looks appealing as this appears to be the way forward.
I will do more reading on the forum,but looks like the Hitechbox will be the one.
