I need a new motor for my 1.2mt dish in the garden, it must be the type where the dish sits on top of the motor (as the pole is only about 4.6ft high) rather than being attached under the motor. As far as I can see all the motors are the latter type I would like something like the Technomate 2600 but as stated it must be the correct type.

Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Regards

There is not much wrong with the motor being used but some teeth must have worn about where the Thor sat is and its difficult to find it.

I had the same requirement and was directed to the stab motors.

They are about twice the price of standard diseqc motors and are very old designs now, but you can still obtain them.

But be careful about the version you get. There are two sizes - HH100 & HH120. You will need the HH120 as it has a longer stub pole, and will probably be more sturdy for your 120cm dish.
