Check at 'Lyngsat.com'.

Are you in a position where you can receive it.
Dish big enough and on target?

First and foremost are you able to receive any free to air channels on that Sat, if not then your dish may have to be re-aligned.

yes I get the channel come up on my other box so I can receive it and yes I do get all the free channels, it just seems for me it will not lock powervu

The fact it is powervu encrypted won't make any difference.

its the afn channels that will not lock

Then perhaps the receiver you are using needs a stronger signal than your other box?

I have top line strength nearly full signal but nothing on the quality signal below

Faulty lnb or cable issue.

I seem to recall having a similar issue several years ago and I think a new lnb sorted it, but it could be a cable / F plug issue.

Have you tried tweaking the dish east or west to see if you can improve the signal quality. the dish may have moved slightly during the recent bad weather.

Are you using the same dish with both receivers?

3 spiders and this box, the only box that will not lock afn is this one.

sorted ,very strange I just took a feed off my spider and put it straight into the hitechbox and yes its found them. it seems it did not like looping through
my spiderbox. strange it found every other channel. now I see the key emu for powervu has gone. do we have to re install the old patch?

Have you checked the motor settings are the same on all 3 boxes.

Might be best to start with re install of patch.
Google powervu keys, choose first option, latest keys are there.

I tried to put the old patch on from the online update and crashed the box, just got it going again and will try as you said.
