New Hitechbox locked up

Hi Folks,just received my Hitec ,have loaded patch ok,scanned channels ok(problem with motor usals but that's something I think I can sort)
Did a http software update but box is now frozen,can't even switch box off,totally locked up,just displays error "SW is damaged please upgrade new" Have powered box off and left for a couple of hours but when powered back up still shows sw damage error
Any ideas greatly appreciated

Thanks for reply JB, did read that thread but could not see any mention of my problem,SW is Damaged,pls upgrade new,will try to sort using method advised.thanks again for your prompt reply,Jacko

Sorted now,as you said JB this had already been covered in earlier posts,I obviously didn't look closely enough.
I loaded the "force_upgrade_rom.bin" file onto USB stick put it into the box,reconnected the power,didn't even have time to press OK as file had already started to load.Have now loaded latest patch using HTTP,all ok.
Only problem now is quite a number of channels are pretty unstable,these are channels that worked very well previously on my old Spiderbox with IKS,hopefully they will settle down. Thanks Jacko
