after putting in new software box was fine for a few days but has now gone back worse than it was once again not watchable it will freeze and switch of cccam wont work mscam freezes all the time

Same for me,channels freeze completely on 13deg at the moment,and are breaking up a lot on 28deg.

I do find that switching to a different transponder(same channel) on 28deg does improve things for a while,so it may be worth trying this if others are having the same problem, you can check which transponder you are on by pressing the info button twice on remote control.

Just got home.

The wife says that 19.2 solid for at least half an hour... although some channels do not work at all...

Well, there's never a warranty.

You have to take a risk.

In my years with Spiderbox and now Hitechbox... I am happy.

There have been issues now and then, but the team always fixes them.

So, I am optimistic.

Speculation on what will or will not happen regards the Hitech 9000 HD Receiver, will not help resolve your problem at this time, only those connected with the current receiver will hopefully be able to come up with a fix for the problems at this time, whether the fix's are posted by blackdevil or other members of that team remains to be seen.

well they sorted out the spiderbox hd 6000 its still a good working box lets hope they can sort something out

Unfortunately I have to add my bad experience as well. After 4-5 years with Spiderbox and IKS, around 4 months ago I bought a Hitechbox HB9000. I had some concerns for the Mscam but as some of the above mentioned the team in the end fixes the problems and delivers an almost perfectly functional box.
Well not this time.
This is so bad that I can say it is worse than the first months of the 1st Spiderbox. Nothing can be assumed, one day channels at 19.2 open and next day or hours letter not or heavily glitching. That day 13 or 28 channels not open and then suddenly do. And the story goes on and on and on....
IPTV a bit better but again with around 60% succes ratio. Firmware(s) fix something and then suddenly again nothing works or other things dissappear like the BISS key entry or the FAV drop down menu invisibility.
Bottompoint is at the moment is a mess and unfortunately you can't even be sure that at least one bunch of channels will work when you really want to watch something ex Spanish at 19.2 or Polsih at 13.
I know that nothing was guaranteed to work regarding the channels clearing (you know what I mean), the box is bought with this notion in mind but hey after so many years you expect at least a semi functional service from this specific team...
I got a motorised dish so I am lucky that I can jump from one sat option to another maybe find a fuctional channel but this is not how I was imaging to use the box, hunting down a working channel.....
I hope that they will come up with a solution and at least some feedback like - YES SORRY WE STILL HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM AND WE ARE WORKING ON IT AND SOON WE ARE CONFIDENT THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE A+. That is the way I remember and trust the team behind the box - the delivered in the end.
Ok, vent stops here and I am sorry for the long post just had to take some of my frustration out which also the same time serves as an observation as well :)

PS... Any users with IKS on the Hitechbox HB9000, do they have the same problems as I am thinking to go for IKS as a last resort before going for an enigma box...
